Little Red Riding Hood – Wolf’s Perspective · By Ethan Tran (Y7)
I was just a normal wolf, travelling through the forest when I noticed a little girl holding a fruit basket. I asked what she was doing 'in this dark forest?'
She told me she was going to see her grandma who lived in the forest. I wanted to be helpful and asked her if I could give the basket to her grandma. She politely said 'no,' and she went along the path to her grandma's cottage.
I decided to go to the cottage myself and help the little girl's grandmother. I jogged to the house and knocked on the door. I heard no sound or movement, so I let myself in.
I saw the grandma lying in bed. I was famished, so I went to the pantry to see if any food was in there. There was nothing and I was extremely hungry since I don't jog often. The grandma was just sitting there though. I waited for what seemed like hours until I couldn't take it anymore. This wasn't my smartest move, but it happened – I kind of ate the poor grandma. When I look back at this moment, I feel like I want to kill myself.
After that, I was feeling bad when I heard a knock on the door. Followed by the sweet voice of the little girl, 'Grandma, I'm here.' I had no idea what to do when I coughed up the clothes from the grandma. The girl opened the door right when I was in bed, wearing the grandma's clothes. She was very curious. I was just going to apologise to the girl, when she ran outside and called, 'Wolf!'
I tried to leap out of bed and hop out a window when the lumberjack came...
And they all lived happily ever after (except the wolf and grandma).
